Minutes of the November 1, 2010 Monthly KPARC Meeting
The meeting was called to order by the president at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Clubhouse Craft Room. The following officers were present. President Dick Bishop, Vice President Joe White, and Secretary Sam Brandes and Bill Love Treasurer.
The president welcomed all members and guest and ask they introduce themselves.

Treasurers Report
The current check book balance: $3500.00
Show & Tell
Tom Clooney introduced the “FOX’ used in the KPARC fox hunting activities. This was followed by showing and describing the QRP transmitter/receiver built by Tom for about $10.00. A group of members are engaged in regular QRP field events.
Old Business
Nominating Committee Report
Committee Chairman Tom Cooney reported that he had one nomination for Secretary: Monica Miller accepted the nomination. Mike Burks nominated Sam Brandes for Vice President: Sam Brandes said if elected he will serve. Dick Bishop was nominated for President and Bill Love was nominated for Treasurer both accepted the nomination.
The election will be held at our December meeting at which time additional nominations can be made from the floor
New Business
Club Room Monitors
The radio room monitor program is now in operation. Members are asked to volunteer for one day per week form 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Please sign up with Dick Bishop or Bev Wilson.
Meeting Day Change
It was noted by the board that several times a year the KPARC meeting day needed to be moved to the second Monday of the month because of holiday observances. President Dick Bishop presented the idea of moving our meeting to the 2nd Monday of the month. A motion to make the aforementioned change was made by Sam Brandes after which a discussion ensued. The motion was seconded and passed that effective January 2011 the KPARC will meet on the second Monday in the Craft Room in the Main Clubhouse.

Annual KPARC/SCCARC Picnic at the Horseshoe Pit November 13th beginning at 12:00 noon. Cost: $7.00 per person. See Dick Bishop or Mike Friolet for tickets.

QCWA Meeting November 19th , 11:30 p.m. at the Alpha House in Apollo Beach.
