WITKOWSKI, LEONARD J K1QPJ (SK) ; WITKOWSKI, M LORRAINE WA1EDR (SK) -- . Leo Witkowski (K1QPJ) and Lorraine Witkowski (WA1EDR) acted as co-chairmen of the first organizational meeting of Chapter 195 of QCWA in Sun City Center was on November 8, 1995. Twenty HAMS and six guests attended. The first official meeting was held on January 11th, 1996 with thirty two HAMs and six guests attending. Charter membership was left open for a short time to allow others who were not able to attend the first meeting to formally become members. Thirty five Charter members were submitted to QCWA National. On February 8, 1996 the QCWA Charter 195 was received.

Lorraine was also Secretary/Treasurer of QCWA Women’s Chapter 120 [Kansas City] in 1997.
